Television is one of man’s most important means of communication. It brings pictures and sounds from around the world into millions of homes. A person with a television set can sit in his house, and he can watch the president make a speech or visit a foreign country. He can see a war happening and watch statesmen try to bring about peace. Through television, home viewers can see and learn about people, places, and things in far-away lands. Television also provides more entertainment programs than any other kind. The programs include plays or dramas, light comedies, sporting events, and motion pictures. So television now plays an imporant role in many people's lives. It is more convenient as well as cheaper for people to sit comfortably at home than go out.

Cô đề nghị với ông mua nó, nhưng ông ta không quan tâm. Vì thế cô đến một tiệm gần bên mua một cái ca rất đắt tiền và đổi lây cái ca Coronation của ông ta. Cô chỉ muôn đặt cái ca ở chỗ thích hợp của nó.

WRITING
My hobby is reading books, and I started loving to read when I was six. I used to ask my grandfather to read me Vietnamese legends or folk stories. And I began to love reading books. 1 felt interested in books.
First I read easy books or picture-books. 1 thought picture-books might interest me and it did. Then I read books on history and literature. I read books nearly every day, usually in the evening, after dinner. Usually I spend about an hour reading my favourite books.
Through books, I can learn many things: how peoples in the world live, how things change and work, the beautiful and pictureque landscapes in the world, and specially I can learn the wise precious things, the sages in the past handed down. It’s true that “Books are the best teaches for everyone”.
